Paving The Way
I feel the wings of faith wrap around
me as I pursue a new wave of brutal intensity locked inside the surface
creating hunger that burns within the
icy storm of undoubtable confidence
shredding the chain of change while
stepping through a new layer of sand
unlocking a new harmony tuning the
vocals to aquire a sound of true
significance soaking in each note
releasing the melody from my heart
canceling out the negative energy
that surrounds the cursed landscape
I feel as the sun rises in my heart
shedding light on the menacing
silhouette of irrational thoughts
melting every shadow of doubt
capturing each frivolous ray of
expired expectations burying them
in the icy embers of newly accomplished goals forfeiting properties of misdemeanor while carrying out a suit of knowledge
surfing waves of justified justice rising through the shears cutting ties with irrelevance from my past draining the
clouds from my mind drinking in the
crystal water hydrating my imagination
opening my eyes to a clear sky of
opportunities
