What kept me from posting
Is the lack of drive and will
I'm slipping down this hill
And I know that I'm losing
My heart yearns for more
But all I find is a closed door
Shut with nails and chains
There's a constant pain
I'm searching but no find
See how I am losing my mind
Have I finally reach the limit
Is this the point where I quit
Do I keep pushing for more
Until I find that open door
That will unlock all I need
Or is it a sign of utter greed
