Vagabond...

The heart has become an inferno-
The flames scalding the last rays of hope.
Emollient words failed to embolden the shattered soul,
Who has become vagrant,
Prowling along rills,
Laying his jaded body in a bed of coarse reeds-
As he contemplates the flickering lights of the celestial world,
Embellishing the black firmament.
And the milky white moon,
Cast her silver sinister shadows,
Over the woods in which he dwelled.
The vagrant cries frantically,
Straying over hills and dales,
Searching for his near and dear ones,
Thumping his chest haplessly,
Sweatdrops moistening his face.
Futile is the search he doesn't perceive,
For the dear one has left for Paradise,
The wind whispers this in his ears-
Yet unable he is to comprehend,
And the hunt is continued by this enigmatic vagabond ..
