Verbal Abuse 2

Words, once soft and sweet,
Now sharp arrows they meet.
Verbal daggers, slicing deep,
Leaving scars that silently weep.
Behind closed doors, the venom spills,
A soul wounded, the pain it fills.
Invisible wounds, yet they persist,
Their echoes linger, a haunting twist.
With each insult, confidence shatters,
Self-worth crumbles, as darkness gathers.
Tongues laced with malice, cruel and cold,
Leaving a heart with stories untold.
Whispers of degradation, they sting,
Like poison, to the core, they cling.
Confusion and doubt, they start to breed,
A tangled web of torment, indeed.
But hear me now, you're not alone,
Together, we'll reclaim what's been thrown.
For within you lies strength unseen,
A spirit resilient, a spirit serene.
Rise above the hateful words they say,
Embrace your worth, come what may.
Your voice is powerful, let it be heard,
Break free from the chains of their hurtful word.
Let kindness guide you, like a gentle breeze,
Healing wounds, bringing inner peace.
And as you soar with newfound might,
Leave behind the darkness, embrace the light.
Remember, you are worthy, strong, and brave,
No longer a prisoner, no longer a slave.
For in your heart, love will reside,
And with self-compassion, you'll heal inside.
