I strive to be a better man
Of this I'm certain, sure
My soul is guided by good deeds
And I resist the Devil's lure
My past may be imperfect
But I seek to make amends
I search my soul for ways to give
And make reparations to my friends
Like a soaring bird above
I seek to live with grace
I strive to walk a virtuous path
And shine light in a darkened space
Evil holds no fascination
I turn away from its abyss
I choose to walk a higher road
And let goodness be my compass
I know there's danger in this world
But I refuse to live in fear
I trust in my own moral code
And hold my loved ones near
I may not be a perfect man
But I strive to be sincere
I let my conscience be my guide
And reject the Devil's snare.
