Your on my mind, our souls already twined. Your words creating my butterflies, if you know what you looked like in my eyes. But you cut the ties. So I'm left to wonder, what was my blunder? I'm already afraid of the thunder, but I'm left tho to plunder another heart. But I'm ready to start, I got the brains so I know I'm smart. I'm focused on this moment, in this time. When I finally reached my prime, I did the crime. I had to lock up these thoughts behind bars, while my eyes look up to the stars. My soul searching for an escape, any form or shape. I'm finding my space, with every step delicate grace. There's no need to chase, nice and steady pace. My mind is in different place, my footsteps leave no trace but I see your face behind my eyes.
