What changed my perspective on voting was when I had taken a Political Economics class in college in 2016 at the age of 22 doing tons of 10-page research essays on politics, republicans, free college tuitions, and topics about voting as well.
In that year of 2016 was when Donald Trump was elected for president. My professor at that time informed us that how it was essential to vote these days, and when Donald Trump was running for president most people were against him. That teacher told us to vote for those who have morals, not prejudice, and will be a support to our communities and will provide good health benefits, a lot of job openings, and higher pay salaries. In that year, my whole perspective changed about voting.
Everyone needs to vote, and I feel that social media is doing an excellent job in this season of covid-19 by encouraging a lot of us young adults to get out there and vote. Voting is very important, and voting is not a want, it is a necessity.
