Vow

Soaked, drenched in filth,
Alone in the womb,
Sown and tethered hopes,
To late to flourish,
Puppet strings that make you move,
And speak soothing words that hide the fangs within,
When did you become hollow to these bleeding eyes?
When it all shatters,
In the forest we met for the first time,
Held by the root that which breeds new life,
I am weak as the crows come for their fill,
After dark, drifted bark,
We both stare at the moon,
Silent words we spoke,
When you promised me love,
And turned your back,
I mourned over the loss of my own heart,
You swore, oh well,
Weave nothing,
The best that you can give,
In the forest we met for the first time,
Held by the root that which breeds new life,
I am weak as the crows come for their fill,
Now the venom calls me,
As she sweeps right through me,
Life blood,
Can't you see this was a dream,
A feeble memory corrodes,
Spills acid sinking in my veins,
(In the forest were we both died)
I can't breathe,
Through this fog you call a friend,
As my hands fade right before my very eyes,
Light with no shadow,
Befalls spiraling down,
Where did those bright wings leave from your back?
And how come it's you, that pulls the sky on it's side,
Petting it's fur like a pet,
A lie...
