Vow to be Broken.

This vow I've made, once never before been broke,
Now you bring me to my knees.

Crushing all the words and promises I've spoke,
Destroying my life long dreams.

A rebellion hath taken place within my heart,
You've torn all I've known in two.

A vow I made to safeguard you, my love;
Now you've forced this vow to be untrue.

Your actions have not warranted the honoring,
Of such a loyal man's most treasured vow.

And you betrayed my trust, ever so knowing;
Now I must severe ties with you, but how?

As bedtime softly beckons you, calling.
Tempting you come and rest your unfaithful head

The poison I slipped into your evening tea, love.
You'll never wake up nor know that you are dead.
