Walking the Tightrope
Being a gentle giant comes with a curse:
Knowing deep within how dangerous the beast truly is.
To go from zero to off the chain in the blink of an eye,
When the rage starts flowing like a wild, broken river.
Everything ahead becomes a wall,
And I am the force meant to smash through them all.
When the vision goes dark, control flies out the window.
When the light returns, all the carnage is seen.
Crying out to fully control the wild river,
Willing to learn the triggers.
But one can never be prepared
For the unexpected.
Is there fear of the loss of freedom?
No—and that is what makes it feel like life is lived on a tightrope.
Instead, bleeding the rage to the page.
For all to see there is a true way out of the cage of darkness
To live in peace.
