Here I am one more time
Walking with the living dead
In circles around and around
My little room again.
Please daddy don’t hit me
Again and again and again
I’ll try not to cry because it
Just makes you even angrier.
Although I never cry out loud
Inside the crying never ends
All I want is to run away and
Leave the endless pain behind.
I’m only 11 years old daddy
Can’t you just forgive me
When I’ve apparently failed
You once again?
And so I circle around my
Room waiting for the bitter
End when I shall runaway and
never come back to you again.
