In the depths of my soul,
A storm rages unseen.
A torrent of tears,
Longing to be set free.
The weight of the world,
Rests upon my weary heart.
But the dam won't break,
Emotions held apart.
Oh, the ache to release,
The floodgates of my pain.
To let the tears flow,
Like droplets in the rain.
But I stand here, silent,
A mere vessel of sorrow.
For society says,
Crying is weak, and must be borrowed.
Yet, tears are not weakness,
But healing in disguise.
They cleanse the wounded,
Nourish the parched eyes.
So let me weep,
Unrestrained and true.
For in the release of tears,
I find strength anew.
In the realm of vulnerability,
I rise above the strife.
And with each silent tear,
I gain back pieces of life.
