My vision was to help the needy
But I was stuck with the greedy
Should've known there was a motive
But Lord you taught me to forgive
The project was well on the way
I thought we were doing well
I never thought I'd became the prey
My life turned into a living hell
Still struggling to get back up
Drinking daily from this bitter cup
Oh Lord is it my sins that blinded me
The onslaughts of evil I couldn't see
My warfare is not against flesh
Though they treat me like trash
Still I'm not gonna bear grudges
Although the whole world judges
