a place of unknowns and despair
sunken eyes pry behind the curtain
dark inside like the darkness of mind
gaze fixed at the blue cerulean sky
covered with gray mists of clouds
morning light clearing the night haze
through the patches of clouds,
demystifying last night's black pages
aspiring sunbeam emanates over the prairie
