The tears flow freely leaving streaks down my cheeks
Why can't they just love and accept me?
Im trying my hardest can't you see
So please don't shun me and turn your back and walk away
I don't live in the past I live for today
But dear family thank you for teaching me the hardest lesson there is to learn
And that's to never turn my back on people when they are left to burn
But to be there with open arms and help build them up not tear them down
So please excuse while I adjust my crown
That's right I'm a princess in my own world well more like a warrior that's walked through hell
But I did it all alone and now I'm doing well
