Life will fail to live, to carry on...

From a liquid so toxic life now It'd kill

Even as the ice in the Antartic melts
It releases microbes humankinds body today
Has no immune system to ward off
We could quickly die off like humanoids of yesterday...
Now look towards the tomorrows
Humankind returns to it's previous home Mars
After our genes are modified
We'll return to our first home in the distant stars...
Every year we face a new grave illness
The strongest carry on the dominate gene
When we go to and land on Mars
Our bodies pallet will need to be clean...
We cannot just "drink" the water
When on a semi habitable plant we find
First the water must be examined and purified
For its natural state could make one blind...
Water here on this old planet
Is being used up far to fast
If something is not done soon
Traveling to Mars will be a dream of the past...
