Everyone has one thing
Something that consumes
Drugs, music, alcohol or TV
Could be cigarettes or food
Addiction is everywhere
It can take away family and friends
It can make you go insane
It can drive you straight to the end
If you go too far deep
So far deep there's no return
Into whatever is keeping you addicted
And then it's too late to learn
Some are saved and get help from rehab
While others pull themselves out
Others dwindle in the midst of addiction
And all they want to do is shout
Day in and day out it can break you
It is an inspiration you will become
Free from your vice one day
And finally say that it's done
