Biases, oh Biases,
A cloud that hovers over our sight,
It blurs our vision,
And paints it with narrow-mindedness.
The tiniest notions,
Ingrained in us,
By society or upbringing,
They shape our thoughts.
The color of skin,
The language we speak,
Our beliefs and values,
Become checkpoints to pass.
The world around us,
Is a diverse tapestry,
Rich with a spectrum of colors,
Of people from various creeds.
But our biases make us forget,
We judge, we stereotype,
And create barriers,
That keep us apart.
Oh, biases, you're silent killers,
You extinguish the flame,
Of empathy and compassion,
That make us human.
Let's shed these biases,
And embrace diversity,
For only then can we truly see,
The beauty of humanity.
