I've heard the pain in their voices,
I've felt their hopes becoming dust,
I've seen them losing loved ones and asking why
Needing faith but trembling as it hurts,
I won't blame you; it's human to cry, it comes from the heart,
I've been in hopeless lands as you are,
Now I hear his voice enhancing my light,
For his light is brighter than our tearful ways,
Through it all,
Your promises go beyond my questions,
You're the truth ,
All I need is you,
Oh Lord , ease their tears and heal the broken souls,
It's not for us to win all battles,
We need faith instead of sight,
There's not tear that falls that isn't met with his grace,
Though our fears took over,
We are set free by his love,
'So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed'.
