We don't need another Hero

For three years , she spoke to none
Residing within her own chamber
Fostering her old fears till dawn
Waiting for the return of a Hero .
She came down the walk , railing
Timidly within her own bosom clearing
Flickering all her doubts till dawn
Gazing with her subtle brown eyes , deeming .
A stir in the air , when she whispered ,
" Hush, It has been a long period
for twenty little stones to break a wall.
Come here , nay , the wall is thick and strong ."
A bent of her arms , she picked the stone
But no thing could be seen down there .
For twenty little stones to break the wall
A dash of fumes attacked her eyes , fair .
She sprung back , her face beneath the soft hands
Cursing at the stain upon her clean apron
That she missed her pinafore quite dreadly
But the stain , it stood vain as it meant to .
Lo! Twenty little stones beneath her hand
Feline fingers caressing the little
Smile curled on her face with a soft corner
Mirthfull strain fills the whole place where she stood .
Her old fears now had gone far away
Too far , for her heart to be feared
Once the old pride that had shown bright upon
now emerged from the depth of darkness.
Disturbed by the crying of a child
She turned round, her tress gently sway.
A girl child of four with her brownish locks
weeping white tears in melancholy.
She bent , took the child in arms
Brown locks mingling among her tress
And soothe the child with darling kiss .
The next moment she had transformed further.
The eyes stern and the lips bold
A great pen hung on her breast pocket.
The handsome head erecting higher,
" We do not need another Hero !"
