Yesterday was all we had
Today things are really bad
We walked together for a while
Trying to force one more smile
But we were not happy at all
And we were bound to fall
Beyond the point to repair
In the end we stopped to care
So I'll take all the good we had
Discard thing that made me sad
Remember what it meant to laugh
Reflect on what it is to be enough
We grew well, but fell to pieces
Yesterday is now irreplaceable
Now I am raising my defenses
So I won't ever have to crumble
