in the midst of storm and intense heat,
those whose words were right,
and light to our path,
those who never kept the truth,
friends who gave it to us, in plain truth,
those whose lives were our ladder,
those who pushed us to go higher,
those who didn't abandon us on the wrong way,
but inspired us to get on the right way.
