I hate competing
then, I have to win
I don't cower down or let people win
I'd rather enjoy a good networking event
but, some people believe they're entitled and try to make people give in
I build people up, they try to tear me down
I smile at people, they give me a frown
I speak positively, they draw negativity
its a tug of war that is never-ending
I try to take into account our history
but, that just makes it more easy
I still want them to see both sides
I'm not just gonna run and hide
I'm not a loser and won't ever pretend to be
what you plan to do becomes of you
so let's just end this

even when you don't feel like talking
