Weapons Of Ghosts;

When I said I was in my element, I was in way over my head. After four days awake, I desperately needed bed, some place safe to rest my weary head. Pictures of ghosts shadow the wall, if I wasn't so small I'd stand above it all, but the ground is so low, I lost the will to bestow my love to you, after all I went through.
Weapons of ghosts, lost in the house, curved walls littered with green vegetation, I lost elation as my mind fractured. Was this my friction depiction? I learnt to lip sync, rolling through the script, the world turned to dust as the walls crumbled around me, I couldn't foresee this happening to me, how could I have been so foolishly deceived?
I used to hide in the dark, lost the will to laugh, until I was found hiding deep underground, my smile coincided with a frown, sheltered deep under earth, it was a narcissistic curse to have been choersed. Chaos surrounding my hearse, cloaked under a led balloon, my death was misconstrued, this could happen to you too.
Couldn't hold off because your clock was ticking, thoughts were drifting away from you as the morning fills the void. Clocks tick out sync as dishes fill the kitchen sink, made me think as I ponder and blink, is the world really so terribly bleak, or did I just step out of sync? It's a long way down to the void, emotionally you'll self destroy.
Someone helped me feel so tall, gave me a world worth fighting for. Don't need another lover to walk in your shoes as I peruse for the opposite of you. I won't let me down because I no longer frown. I'm not an angel, simply a man, someone swept me off my feet, gave me the will to breathe, after all I've seen, somehow I got out clean.
