A few of us are sitting outside
Having a cigarette and chatting
It's been so very hot and humid
We are giggling and some laughing
Talking about random topics
Some things are quite serious
Problems with a power-tripping
Egotistical wanna-be baby wuss!!!!!!
Tonight it's still very humid and hot
No breeze or wind of any kind
Just stale warm air hovering around
If a rainstorm arrived, I wouldn't mind
A downpour would be so refreshing
And an arctic polar vortex as well
A nice brisk snowstorm too, with
Fall type weather, that sounds swell!!
Indoors are brutal without some A/C
Sitting anywhere you drip sweat
This summer started so ruthless
Mother nature spares no one , you can bet!!!
Longer autumns and longer spring times
Short and brief winters and summers to endure
Just enough for a tan and a swim
Then in winter build a snowman , fast I'm sure
Maybe move to the Midwest somewhere
Or the west coast where winters are mild
Travel far north where it's seldom humid
Just thinking about it makes me go wild!!!
