Seeing you on that far away land was hard
Wishing to see you everyday, I craved
Missing the feeling of holding you in my arms
Hugging you so tight, never to let go
Your soft lips kiss on my forehead that always sends chills down my spine
Laughing at your silly jokes while we feel the warmth of our breath.
Seeing you leave was the hardest of things
Knowing I won't feel such warmth, makes me cry
I know it's duty that called, but why you?
Thank goodness it's not forever.
Seeing your texts of return brought back all the lost joy.
All I want is to just meet you with our warm hugs with the kisses of your lips all over my face, while I welcome you home with the warmest of treats.
