I set an alarm, it never rang
at least;
The ring on my finger seems to shine brighter than my future
Jumping out of bed is like jumping into a lion’s mouth.
Cold water on my body as I stood there bold in a shower
Admiring my sadness in mirrors, that’s what I do most
I assume the sun must be mad at me
She has moved to the other room
At least she still chooses a sweaty perfume for me.
Like butter on my bread my problems smeared on my face
This is the life I have to face
But I got to go up with the pace
Stairs to my office packed like files on my table
My ocean eyes stared at them, my heart told my mind
I need to be stable to get though this sadness.
What A Morning !!!
