What do I do?
When my walls come crumbling down
And my covering taken away from me
The mockers stand and laughed at my nakedness
When Thy glory is taken and my shame unveil
I'd cry Ichabod
What do I do?
When my pillar fails to give support
And my bosom friends desert me
The promises of men is indeed a vain
“Anytime” has turned to “not now” alas!!
I'd cry lá má sa-bach' tha-ni?
What do I do?
When my quiver is void of arrows
And in wild forest found I myself
Every step draws ravenous beasts closer
My heart raced, my hope shattered
I'd cry ah Lord God
What do I do?
When darkness cast her spell o'er me
And I look up beyond for sunlight
But tick dark cloud is what I behold
My stars fall to my world as cold meteors
cry illumine
What do I do?
When I found myself lost in a distance sea
With a broken compass and bearing impossible
And my anchor fails to get grip on the harbor
Oh! My fate to hungry hippos and sharks left
I'd cry El Roi
What do I do?
When my feet fails to stand on solid ground
Ah! my proposed solid ground is a sinking sand
And my cry the mountains echo back to me
Then to my woe I sink into eternal abyss
I’d cry Yahweh Tsuri
What do I do?
When my stronghold fail to yield support
And my Loved ones taken from me
Then, alone left to wander in this evil world
Hunted by mneme of my departed ones
I’d cry Yahweh Ropheka
