To his amazement,
He had done it.
The portal to hell
Had been opened -
And sure enough,
A demon came out.
He stood in awe,
As the demon looked around.
" Satan? "
He mumbled.
" Actually, It's Dave. "
Said the demon.
" Were you born in a barn?
Shut the portal please! "
Awkward silences
Filled the room.
" So ... uh ...
Would you like anything to drink? "
He asked.
" Just a water, thank you. "
Said Dave.
" How 'bout a snack? "
He queried.
" Oh sure. "
Dave stated.
" Just an apple though. I'm trying to watch my figure. "
