What has happened to the world . .
This world is going through a phase,
There is a pandemic and no future of academics
Heat waves and cyclones ensuring that we stay at home
Yet we risk our lives by leaving our home sweet home .
Migrant workers who built our houses have no buses to get to their houses
Locusts have been eating our crops and we can do nothing but watch
This is natures way of punishing us as we have for long been using its resources without even nourishing it.
To compete with yourself is what we were taught but no one told us that lives were also lost when this war was fought.
Lets grow through from what we go through and be the phoenix because from the ashes we shall rise.
