What if you had all you wanted?
Everything falling into place like a perfect puzzle,
No mistakes, no delays—just everything lining up,
Would it feel like living , or like something’s missing?
Why is it that we can't have it all?
That some dreams slip away like water through your hands,
Like reaching for something just beyond your grasp,
And the stars always seem farther than they should be?
Is it necessary for the road to be rough,
For the climb to hurt, the rain to pour,
Is it only when we’re tested that we truly grow,
Is the fire of ambition only kindled by struggle,
Is it the fall that teaches how to rise?
Is the struggle the price we pay for wisdom?
And when things finally go smooth,
When the winds calm and the sky clears,
Why do we still wonder if it’s too good to be true,
Why do we doubt the peace when we’ve earned it?
