WHAT IF?

The lockdown begins.
Power's gone out.
Everyone trapped in their homes,
But the plague's walking on the
Streets,
Looking for who to knock out cold.
The day comes with tranquility,
But the night, with terrors.
Those who live close to the grass fear
"What if in the midst of this darkness,
The herdsmen come?"
Despite the law,
The plague walks in those who've
Given themselves to rebellion.
You dare not go out by day.
The plague will get you!
At night, the herdsmen wait in ambush
To deflower, torture and massacre.
They work together with this plague
And because the powers that govern are biased,
Always favouring the vegetables
That come from the North
And calling the others from elsewhere, minute,
They have made their plans to
Elimante us.
What shall troubled hearts do?
The elderly, weak, uneducated, infants,
Those who know nothing of where they come from,
What shall become of them?
Scrupolously and meticulously planned
By these men.
Shortage of power comes to play.
We turn on our generators and
the sound coming from them
Will prevent us from hearing
And alas,
It will surely end in bloodshed.
