Life, what is life,
It's so much bigger then you and me,
Life is the essence of existence,
And its range is to vast for any one person to see,
Life was created with all other things,
Simply to be, is in other words living,
And living should have the importance,
That I believe not one of us has ever given,
You see life gave us the power of free will,
And with free will we gain a selfish nature,
We took the only thing that could ever be seen as perfect,
And turned it Into our emotions witch is impure,
We need our heart to live but also to feel,
Thus we find ourselves in a pandora's box,
Emotions make us do the damndest of things,
And those things, well their intentions talk,
Witch brings up back to our selfish nature,
To be fair none of us really had the choice,
Impure emotions couldn't be understood
So life gave us a voice,
With that voice we were given a second chance,
To redeem ourselves from our inevitable selfish ways,
Our voice blessed us with the power of reasoning,
And because of that, we are able to live out our days,
To hear someone else's voice and find reasons to understand,
Brought balance back into living from our selfish drive,
And we were finally shown the soul purpose,
That you and me, ever came to be alive.
So what is life?
To me it's the balance of every right and every wrong,
And its the power to understand and still want to be understood,
That's how life showed me that we all truly belong.
