What is love exactly
It comes in many forms
We love so abstractly
Like a firestorm
We love with passion
And extreme desire
Romantic compassion
Like a ball of fire
Burns so intense
From Cupid's arrow
I've no defense
Like a lovesick sparrow
We also love
With a friendship true
A loyalty sort of
That grew and grew
It's unconditional
Accepts regardless
Extreme sacrificial
Utter bliss
Love is powerful
For it is blind
In any form
Our faults to find
We sacrifice much
We commit our all
Just for the chance
In love to fall
Be it lover
Or a friend
Just to have you
To the very end
