I think we give
Ourselves
To much credit
Today,
Simply because
Of electric cars
And cellphones
With games to play,
Great inventions
Indeed
But we really don't
Have a clue,
If only we had the
Wisdom of what the
Ancient people knew,
They talked to gods
As easily as we
Text on phones,
Lifted up mythic
Monuments
How they did it
Is still unknown,
With all of our
Universities
We still have
knowledge to
Accrue,
I hope that someday
We find out
What the ancients
Knew,
