When you are tired of begging and
You keep seeing images of yourself Hunted
What Becomes of suppressed pain
When you're tired of crying for yourself and
They tell you that all life matters but
They didn't include your black life.
They want us to keep smiling, grinning
Continue to act like we're not dying.
While singing we "Shall Over Come"
What to do with rage?
What to do when everything you built gets torn down,
Black Wall Street, Rosewood, Wilmington
I could go on, on.
I can't even go to church,
Ask four little black girls and
The 9 prayer Warriors, Emmanuel had to say goodbye to.
What to do you with rage?
When all you want to do is live in peace, and
raise your children but
The system you're living under don't support your equality
We have prayed, marched,loved, forgiven and
Still nothing much changes
Now don't be mad when this rage explode, and
You see me looting and burning because
