What you sow, so shall you reap...
Who knocks upon the doors of fate,
And walks through ruin with borrowed weight,
A blade held close, yet never seen,
Trading life for what once had been,
The world once bloomed in breathing green,
Where summer gold and winter’s sheen
Held seasons true in their gentle hand,
Now rain arrives where none had planned,
What happened to the earth we once knew,
Where skies were wide and rivers grew?
Now forests fall in silent blame,
And time forgets each burning name,
The canvas once with colours spun,
Now fades to ash beneath the sun,
Black and white with shades of loss,
Each future built on rising cost,
The earth still weeps in cracked replies,
As glaciers break and river dries,
The home we breathe, the air we steal,
Now bends beneath a human seal,
Storms now arrive without restraint,
Monsoon skies both wild and faint,
The sun burns sharp, the winds mislead,
The world returns what we once seed,
For what is sown shall come to be,
A mirrored fate in every sea,
And what we break, we learn too late,
Becomes the echo of our fate...
