I meant it, none felt it
I was willing to give, the weren't ready to receive
They took it away, I couldn't retrieve
I was done living for others it was time to do something for myself
I believed in them...I left nothing for myself
I discovered my purpose they weren't part of it
Looked and searched, a few aligned with it
Kept it to myself, they weren't aware of it
