When I smile, the world seems brighter,
The sun shines a little more,
The flowers bloom a little taller,
And my heart feels a little more sure.
When I smile, the weight of the world,
Slips from my shoulders with ease,
My worries and fears disappear,
Like a gentle summer breeze.
When I smile, the world around me,
Feels a little less cold,
And the people I meet,
Are a little more bold.
For a smile is a powerful thing,
It can change a day,
It can light up a room,
And chase the darkness away.
So when life gets tough,
And the road seems long,
I'll keep on smiling,
For it's a simple but powerful song.
