When “I’m Tired” Means More Honestly… I’m tired. Not the kind of tired sleep…

When “I’m Tired” Means More

Honestly… I’m tired.

Not the kind of tired sleep fixes.

The kind where my heart has been begging for love,

for attention, for _you to see me_…

and now I don’t even have the strength to beg anymore.

“No, I can’t” — not because I don’t love you.

Because love shouldn’t feel like I’m chasing it.

Because I’ve been emptying myself into a cup with holes,

hoping this time it would stay full.

I’ve been trying to retrace the wrong things I did to you…

Counting every mistake like scars on my palms.

“Was it this text? That silence? That night?”

As if I map all my flaws,

I can finally earn the softness I needed from the start.

But love isn’t a math test, is it?

I shouldn’t have to prove I’m worthy of care.

I shouldn’t have to audition for the attention

that was supposed to be home.

So tonight I’m not begging.

I’m just honest.

I’m tired of fighting for crumbs.

Tired of reading “I’m good” when I’m breaking.

Tired of “Mxm” being the only word I have left.

If you come back, let it be with consistency, not confessions.

If you stay, let it be with presence, not promises.

And if you can’t…

then let me learn how to give myself

the love I’ve been begging you for.

Because I’m tired.

But I’m still here.

And I still deserve peace.
