WHEN NEXT I COME

On a record of hostile but smiling people,
I would turn inanimate that holds life;
When next I come
To appease nature for this painful living
Of a man down on the ground for help
But many surrounded him without giving
With their keys to their fist, some take to their heels
It is wrong to help a man yearning to live
Even when there are bounty options yelling at him,
They feel happy watching me spit,
From sunrise to sunset my teeth just grit
It wasn't part of what I chose
The life called fate, was brutal till death
So sad, stay here and watch me fade,
A goodbye that was never prayed
But when next I come,
I will be in the sun that shines bright
That showered from the sky like crystal light
I will be in the gentle breeze
Softly lifting up the leaves of the trees
Dancing to the rhythm of my hymns
I will be in the rain romancing the grain
When next I come, I will be a non living
That supports life and good living.
To their diseases I be their cure
Some kind of miracle they are not sure
I will make things easy for those that strife
And send away the mosquito from it's hive
Help me find the peace I seek
That when next I come, I fleet.
