The sands of time...
Funny to watch it toss and turn
Taking in my last few glances
Before the hourglass meets the wall
...
It spins and spirals out of control
Yet keeping its way in centripetal force
The tides of time keep turning
My heart tossed back and forth
...
There is light, then quickly dark
Black and yet suddenly white
So quickly the time passed me by
From brightest day to darkest night
... It felt like seconds...
There the hourglass goes,
When it stops, no body knows
But when my life shatters, and the sand is tossed all about
Maybe then I'll actually realize
...
Time has no hold on me.
