When the savoir speaks
In the stillness of the breaking day, when shadows dimish away, a whisper rides the morning breeze, a steel voice among the trees. “Don’t be scared,” the Savior speaks, His voice like rain in the desert heat. “I’m here for you, both near and far, I know exactly where you are.”
Through heartache and silent fears, through every fall and every tear His footsteps are in sand, a shield of grace where angels may land. When you are weak, He lifts you high, when you can’t see, He is your eyes. No weapon against shall prosper nor hender you in anyway. He walks behind, beside, before, He shall guard your soul forevermore. Through dawn’s softest light and darkest gloom, His love will always fill the room. So child, arise—go on, strong, for you’ve shall be carried by His Spirit wherever you may go.
