Few rejoiced at my birth
Few will grieve when I die
When will reality sink in
Will a river of tears anyone cry?
Burn my carcass to cinder
Throw my ashes upon my garden
May the cold of my passing
Bring into it new life again,
I am no super hero
Nor a coward I be
I am trapped in a shell
Longing to be set free,
The clouds here are beautiful
The mountains breath taking
With the skies a delicate blue
Tis like Heaven in the making,
If I appear a bit down
Leaning towards melancholy
Cancer may be eating my body
Twill not take my smile from me,
Few rejoiced at my birth
Who'll morn my death
Who'll want to be by my side
When I exhale my last breath.
Tis then reality will sink in.
