Where I Found God

Truth is,
I didn’t find God in church.
But He found me.
I was in a quiet corner, where my soul was broke.
I was sitting in silence, drowning in sorrow.
Of Dreams that once burned bright,
Had now faded into shadows,
Tired not just in body, but in spirit.
Confused by life and disappointed in myself,
Even prayer felt like a whisper into the void.
And the burden of my sins was too heavy to bear.
And there, right there, He came.
He reached down into the pit of my despair,
Held me close not with judgment, but with mercy
And whispered so gently,
“My child, this isn't the end.”
