Where silence learns your name

Where silence learns your name
“Where Silence Learns Your Name”
I found you
in the quiet between two heartbeats,
where words go
when they are too afraid to be heard.
You were not loud—
no, you were the kind of presence
that tiptoes into a soul
and rearranges the furniture of feeling.
I called you once,
but silence answered in your voice.
And somehow,
that was enough to make me stay.
There is a place
where broken things do not shatter—
they echo,
softly… like memories learning how to breathe again.
I think you live there.
In the corners of almost,
in the shadows of “what if,”
in the spaces where my name
sounds different when you say it.
And maybe—
just maybe—
that is where I am most real:
Not in the noise of being seen,
but in the quiet
where you remember me.
