Where Technological Revolution Stirs

In the heart of our world, where progress takes its place, a revolution stirs in the realm of cyberspace
Machine hum with life, wires pulse with light
The workplace transformed in the blink of a byte

Gone are the day’s ink and parchment paper were at hand,
Now replaced by screens of light data in control
Emails zipping through the air swift as a dove
Bearing messages of work and progress of love

Conference rooms now silent, their purpose redefined,
As meetings take place in the cloud leaving walls behind
Voices echo across continents faces on screen
Distance no longer a barrier,
We are as close as we can ever be, just see technology at work doing its best

The chatter of the typewriter are now sound of the past,
Now replaced by the soft tapping a gentler and fainter sound
Documents no longer physical by floating in the cloud
Accessible in instants through the digital crowd
Yet among this miracle worker technology
There lies a silent question a piece we’ve yet to acknowledge
For as we connect with keyboard with screens cold and bright
Will we lose the human touch the warmth of shared insights?

The workplace has transformed there’s no doubt
Efficiency and speed that’s what it’s all about
Yet as we embrace the future,
Let’s not forget the past, for human element in work should forever last
