Where We Once Stood

I find my tears to be unwelcoming.
My whole life you've always been there.
But yet my whole life you've hurt me.
So now your not here, I will welcome these unwelcoming tears.
For they are here because your gone.
I'll kiss the absence for which you once stood.
For I've stopped mourning a life which still lives on.
I can hear your morrow cries, for which I do not know why.
You're ignorance serves you well, but look around you and tell me how many you see.
Where once stood one, two and three.
Do you see the shell of where we once stood?
Our footprints create bowls for your tears.
We were once anchored, but now we have left you in fear.
Cries from the bottle in which you have drowned.
We can hear them, but no more are we going to be held down.
