If only wishes could come true,
I have one…
or two…
or maybe a few.
And they’re all about you.
I’d wish for your smile,
because it warms my heart
in a way nothing else can,
in the day,
and even at night.
I’d wish for your laughter,
because there is no sound more beautiful.
It’s like sunlight
dancing on a single drop of water,
Clear…
and bright.
I’d wish for your dreams
to take flight,
to soar on wings of hope,
because I want the world
to be gentle with you.
I’d wish for your happiness,
a constant melody,
like life’s sweetest symphony
playing just for you.
And if wishes could truly come true…
my last wish
would be the simplest one.
That your heart
would find mine,
and love it
as deeply as I love yours.
