Whispers

I hear their whispers and laughter;
They've given me different names.
My privacy, is now their talk topic,
They murmur behind my back.
Their faces wearing smile,
Their thoughts filled with prejudice.
I hear their annoying whispers.
They're all blinded by false beliefs.
The sharp whispers again strike,
Injuring my dignity and self-esteem.
Only if they could learn to respect,
They could give the needed support.
